I just recently implemented FitRoom on my clothing store website so that customers could change outfits online, and I can share my experience. I will say right away that I also had doubts at first when I first heard about this system. There were many questions about accuracy and how effectively AI can “replace” a real fitting. But in the end, it turned out to be a pretty good solution for online trading, and here's why. Firstly, FitRoom is based on artificial intelligence, which analyzes the customer's body shape, making accurate calculations based on the photos they upload. It is worth noting that the better the quality of the photo, the more accurate the result will be. Of course, there is a problem with photos - if the customer sends a photo from an unfortunate angle or not full-length, the system may make a mistake. Therefore, it is important for customers to know how to upload photos correctly to get the best result. But if you follow the instructions, mistakes happen extremely rarely. Now about accuracy. During testing, we noticed that FitRoom can really show how clothes will sit on a real body, taking into account all its features. Of course, it is not a perfect substitute for a real fitting - for example, the fabric may fit slightly differently in reality due to its texture or density, but the system gives a very close result that will help the buyer understand whether the item will fit him or not. We conducted surveys among our customers, and most of them noted that virtual fitting helps them with choosing clothes and significantly reduces the likelihood of returns.
